It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jane Laverne Sheets of Hildebran, North Carolina, born in Johnson City, Tennessee, who passed away on April 24, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Barnes and Eula Hicks Barnes; and her husband Jesse Sheets. She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Willix (Von Hamby) of Hickory and Jeanette Sheets; her grandsons, Austin Liner and Cody Willix of Newton; her siblings, Judy Sheets of Vale, Deborah Smith of Conover, Angela Wandell (James) of Elizabethton, TN, Dallas Barnes of Johnson City, TN and Douglas Barnes of Drexel; and her son-in-law David Willix of Newton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Autism Society-North Carolina in Jane's name.
