It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Ralph Gorsuch of Hildebran, North Carolina, born in Lancaster, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 13, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Winslow Gorsuch and Catherine Theresa McNamara; his former wife Janice Sue Harris; and his sister Julie Torrey. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Elizabeth Davis (Tim) of Creedmoor, NC, Jimmy Parker (Megan) of Pawleys Island, SC, Rene Canalis (Ian) of Bogart, GA, Katie Nordquist (Chris) of Candler, NC, Rachel Hydrick (Eric) of Mebane, NC, Jamie Gorsuch (Molly) of Hendersonville, NC and Thomas Wilson of Boulder, CO.; his wife Rebecca Gayle Gorsuch; and his sister Lila Vestal of Kernersville, NC. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
