With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hubert Rhoney (Hildebran, North Carolina), born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on July 8, 2018 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Lucy Childers Rhoney; his daughters, Blenda "Benny" Rhoney of Hildebran and Kim Kanipe (Brent) of Ocean Isle, NC; his sisters-in-law, Betty Rhoney of Cooksville and Thresa Childers of Icard; and his grandsons, Chaise Kanipe (Amanda), Nicolas Kanipe (Sarah) and Christopher Kanipe. He is also survived by five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
