He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Andrew Byers and Minnie Lucile Leach Byers. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Griffith Byers; his children, Brian Byers of Chesnee, SC, Fred Hunter (Sandy) of Mays Landing, NJ, Kimberly Hunter of Hildebran, NC, Barbara Arrowood (Kevin) of Blacksburg, SC and John Reed of Rock Hill, SC; his grandchildren, Brandon Byers, Conlee Hunter, Preston Hunter, Nicole Errickson and Ashley Baker; his great grandchildren, Annabell Pennington, Bailey Baker and Hunter Baker; and his sister Mildred Willis of Shelby, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
