It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Malcolm Smart of Hildebran, North Carolina, who passed away on November 13, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Smart and Carrie Herman Smart; and his siblings, Johnny Lee Smart, Paul L. Smart and Frances M. Willis.

He is survived by: his wife Wanda Smart; his sons, Marty Revis (Karen), Steve Smart (Kim Sigmon) and Carl Smart, Jr. (Suzanna Maxwell); his grandchildren, Amber Turk and Sierra Smart; and his great grandchildren, Levi Turk and Ethan Turk.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Foundation in Carl's name.
