William Stell Huie Obituary

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact William had on those he encountered along his journey. Though William may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William McEver Huie and Nan Stell Huie; and his wife Madaline Johnson Huie. He is survived by: his daughters, Helen Huie Ashenfelter (John) and Sarah Huie Coleman (Joseph); his grandsons, William Andrew Ashenfelter (Margaret) and David Huie Ashenfelter; and his siblings, Barbara Huie Hinds and Jerry Huie. He is also survived by his two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Highlands (471 Main St, Highlands, NC 28741).
