With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Overton Tucker Chambers of Highlands, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 15, 2024 at the age of 71. He was predeceased by: his parents, Overton Chambers, II (Tony) and Isabel Hall Chambers; and his brother Thomas T. Chambers. He is survived by: his wife Jeannie Chambers; his children, Royce Chambers (Danielle) of Fredericksburg, VA, Adam Chambers of Byron Bay, Erin Britt (Travis) of Hodges, SC and Susan Williams (James) of Franklin, NC; his brother Tim Chambers (Karen); his grandchildren, Katie Grace, Lydia, Rebecca, Jon-Ira, Melissa, Asa, Mason, Josiah, Janie, Maddie, Grant, Levi and Clayton; and his close friends, Debbie and Mike Clark. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, members of Jeannie's family and friends.
