With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucille Wilson of Highlands, North Carolina, who passed away on March 22, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey L. Nix and Lillian Mozelle Owens Nix; her stepmother Gladys Neely Nix; and her brother Bruce Nix. She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Wilson Norris (Lester); her sister Christine Lowe (Bill) of Highlands; and her close friend Clara Nix.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Clear Creek Community Cemetery, C/O Joan Hicks, 288 Persimmon Road, Highlands, NC 28741 or The Highlands-Cashiers Humane Society, 200 Gable Drive, Sapphire, NC 28744.
