She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Chester Nicholas and Ersie Vereen Wright; her grandparents, Charles Wright and Helen Cabe Wright Wilson of Helen's Barn; her husband Kenton David; her daughters, Jennifer Thompson of Highlands, NC, Karen Salthouse of Greensboro, NC and Laura David of Wake Forest, NC; her stepsons, Jeff David of Fairfax, VA and William David of Arizona; her sister Aura "Barbara" Wright; and also, Steve Kerhoulas and Mark Ford. She was also cherished by her children's spouses and her thirteen grandchildren.
