He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vernon Barrett, Sr. and Annie Louise Bruner Barrett. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Barrett; and his sister Cynthia Wingard (Charles) of Birmingham, AL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
