He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bernhardt Heller and Helen Bitzer Heller; his former wife Ruth Kennedy Heller; and his stepchildren, Julie Seta and Jeffrey Dean Bates.
He is survived by: his son David B. Heller Jr. (Barney); his daughter-in-law Karen of North Wales; his stepdaughter Perianne Bates of Athens; his son-in-law Frank Seta of Cincinnati; and his grandchildren, Douglas Heller (Amanda) of Ganesvoort, NY, Gregory Heller (Marissa) of Houston, Elaina Heller Rosenquist (James) of Pittsburgh, PA, Christa Seta Kursmark (Matt) of New York, NY, Louis Seta (Eleanor) of Cincinnati and Evan Bates of Hollywood, Florida. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, his family and friends.
The family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Highlands-Cashiers Land Trust or to the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation.
