She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Earl Dendy and Gladys McCall Dendy; and her siblings, Olan Dendy and Gale Dendy Alford. She is survived by: her husband John Carpenter (Tommy); her stepchildren, Carey Spurgeon (Chris) of Hoschton, Tiffani Davis (Jimmy Lee) of Camarillo and Casey Carpenter of Highlands, NC; and her siblings, Dale Roper of Franklin, NC, Jack Dendy (Carolyn) of Hayesville, NC and Mack Dendy of Hayesville, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
