He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Jackson Cooper and Gladys Martin Cooper; and his sister Shirley Oakley (Steve) of Jenks, Oklahoma. He is survived by: his children, Kim Crummey (Michael) of Yulee, Tami Cooper Bridges of Winston-Salem, Tim Cooper Jr. of Mayo and Joshua Cooper (Haley) of Clemmons; and his stepchildren, Kathy Poole of Trinity, Nikki Sims (Ray) of Greensboro and David Cox of Greensboro. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
