He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Leonard and Marilda Cecil Leonard of High Point, NC.; and his sister Hilda Hardison of Denton, NC.. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Leatherwood Leonard; his children, Catherine Leonard (Erik Ofeely) of Greensboro, NC and Steven Wesley Leonard (Julie); his grandsons, Isaac and Sam Leonard of Willow Springs, NC.; and his brothers, Tony Leonard, Sr. of Archdale and Bill Leonard (Lisa) of Thomasville, NC.
