With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sherry Elaine Anderson of High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on January 26, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Sherry Elaine may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alphus Rudolph Hawthorne and May Lois Beebe. She is survived by: her daughters, Joella Anderson (Keith) of High Point, Kerry Goodman of Fenton and Allison Anderson of Shelby Twp, Michigan; her sister Janice Mary Hawthorne; and her grandchildren, Grant Anderson (Dustin), Collin Anderson, Spencer and Lauren Goodman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside gathering at the Floral Garden Cemetery in High Point, North Carolina on January 31st, 2025 at 1 p.m. To those who might wish to do so, the family is asking that donations be made to Best Friends Animal Society at http://www.bestfriends.org.
