She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Miller and Gennette Miller; her husband Josiah Holmes; and her brothers, Jesse Jr. and Marvin Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Avis Miller and Courtland Pemberton; her granddaughter Caitlyn Pemberton; and her siblings, Ivey Miller (Margarett), Shirley Shaw, Voncile Quick (Hubert), Carolyn Johnson (Sammy), Priscilla Miller, Rodney Miller (Delores), Barbara Miller, Cindy Batton (Willie) and Harriet Hayes. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
