It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sara Forrest Thompson Hunt of High Point, North Carolina, born in Burlington, North Carolina, who passed away on August 7, 2020, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. William Jack Hunt; her children, Sara Elizabeth Hunt Finch (Beth) and William John Hunt; her siblings, Margaret Thompson MacMillan, Ruth Merelyn Thompson Jobe and William Thompson; and her parents, May Coble Thompson and William Newton Thompson.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Hunt of Staunton; her grandchildren, Sara Elizabeth Lovelace of Richmond and John Bentley Lovelace (Inese); her sons, Edvard and Kristofer of Arlington, Virginia; her nephews, Pat Jobe, Bill Jobe and Robert Thompson; and her niece Mary Bland.
In light of her commitment to the High Point YWCA, the family requests donations be made in her honor.
