He was predeceased by: his wife Lynda Ridge Stroud. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Robert "Bob" E. Stroud, Jr. (Sherrie) of High Point, Chip Stroud (Cathy) of High Point and Dr. Angie Stroud Curlee (David) of Albemarle; his brother Johnny Stroud of Silver Valley; his sister-in-law Terri Ridge Jones of Lexington; his grandchildren, Meredith Stroud Tomlin (Brad), Dr. Brooke Stroud Martin, Chase Stroud (Leslie), Robert Trey Stroud, Dr. Sydney Stroud Lassiter (Kris), Ty Cole, Cole Curlee and Bret Curlee; his great grandchildren, Cooper Tomlin, Isla Tomlin, Davis Martin, Charleigh Stroud, Averi Stroud and Palmer Lassiter; and his close friend Carole Mezzapelli.
