He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Brown; his daughter Penny Cox; his parents, J. T. Brown and Annie Brown; and his siblings, Buck Brown, Norma Jean Mitchell and Brenda Dove.
He is survived by: his children, Patty Transeau and Robert Brown, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Brandie, Deana, Donnie, Deanna, Crystal and Timmy. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; a few great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
