She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wesly Alston and Emmalin Tyson Alston; her husband Tyrone Allen; and her brother Reverand Bernard "Chick" Alston. She is survived by: her children, RaeSheaun Bittle (Steve) of High Point, NC and Farnsworth Alston (Inetta) of Brandywine, MD; her grandsons, Rondreco Alston, Bryant Jones, Jr., Zachcus McLaughin and Ariss Alston; her brothers, William Bill Alston (Betty) of Trinity, NC and Christopher Simmons of High Point, NC; and her siblings-in-law, David Allen (Virginia) of Greensboro, NC, Lee Allen Jr. of Winston-Salem, NC, Mary Alston of Florence, SC and Rosa Penn (Al) of Winston-Salem, NC. She is also survived by one granddaughter, Passion Alston; nine great grandchildren.
