He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ann Hudson; his daughter Pamela Pegram Brown (Mark) of Kernersville; his grandchildren, Parker and Ella Brown; and his siblings, Lindsey Pegram (Ann) of Stokesdale, Peggy Pegram of Greensboro, Elizabeth Joyner (Richard) of Greensboro and Judy Aydelette (Bill) of Greensboro. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Life Community Church.
