With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rebecca Jane Veach Garrett of High Point, North Carolina, born in Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on November 13, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Quentin "Buck" Veach and Helen Kennedy Veach; and her brother George Lee Veach. She is survived by: her husband Edward "Eddie" Lamont Garrett; her children, Shara Garrett Craver of Lexington and Michael Kipp Garrett of High Point; her sisters, Sally Craven of Winston-Salem and Sylvia Russ (Mickey) of Winston-Salem; and her granddaughters, Delaney Craver, Paige Garrett, Lyla Garrett, Presley Craver and Sadie Garrett.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Methodist Church (1393 Hasty School Rd, Thomasville, NC 27360). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr. High Point, NC 27262.
