He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin L. Cecil and Nora Payne Cecil; and his siblings, Carleen Cecil, Forrest Lee Cecil, Grace Cecil Huff (Thomas Huff) and Bobby Lee Cecil.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Farlow; his sister-in-law Nancy Cecil of Archdale; his nephew Daniel "Danny" Cecil (Dreama) of Archdale; his great-nephews, Bobby Cecil (Megan) of Archdale and Tommy Cecil (Melia) of Archdale; his sister-in-law Wanda Farlow Peele of High Point; his close friends, Lisa Carter, Hoyt Nichols and Larry Sechrest; and also, Daniel and Nathan Cecil.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Cumby Family Funeral Service (206 Trindale Rd, Archdale, NC 27263). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Cumby Family Funeral Service - Archdale (206 Trindale Rd, Archdale, NC 27263).
