He was predeceased by: his wife Mae Thomasson Ballard (Mary); and his son Terrence Ballard. He is survived by: his children, Phyllis Parker (Curtis) of Thomasville, NC and Phillip E. Ballard, Jr. of Avon, Indiana; and his brother Willie Ballard, Sr. of High Point, NC. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
