He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Shaw and Helen Shaw; his son Timothy Shaw; and his brother Ronald Shaw. He is survived by: his wife Dottie Shaw; his daughter Kelly Shields (Dustin) of Colfax; his grandson Dakota Shields of Colfax; and his siblings, Bill Shaw of High Point, Ginger McGhee (Larry) of High Point, Dwight (Jody) of Winston Salem, Larry Shaw (Karen) of High Point and Phyllis Smith of Thomasville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
