She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Hussey Knight and Mallie Posey Knight; her siblings, Waymouth "Wayne" Knight, Edward H Knight, Jr. and Elizabeth "Libby" Knight; and her nephew Bruce Knight.
She is survived by: her close friend Sasha; her husband Roger Welch; her children, James Victor Welch of Asheboro and Traci Knight of High Point; her grandson Christopher Knight (Samantha) of Cary; and her close friends, Celia Dunning, June Wilcox and Janet Winslow.
At her request there will be no funeral or visitation at this time due to the prevalence of Covid-19.
