She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Thomas Alexander and Farris Kirkman Alexander; her husband William Lee Horne, Jr.; her children, Janice Leigh Horne and William Lee Horne, III; and her brother Bobby Alexander.
She is survived by: her sons, Max Horne (Lisa) of High Point and Alan Horne (Laura) of Canton, GA; and her grandchildren, Casey Horne (Michael Donatelli) and Leslie Horne (Chase Stroud).
