He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Lou Patterson and James Willie Fairley; and his sister Deborah Ann Smith. He is survived by: his sisters, Juanita Covington, Marisa Hussain and Amanda Bennett; his aunt Dorothy Ann Campbell; his nephew Joshua Patterson (Ashley); and his close friends, Derrick Davis, Dale Hill and Adam Dye. He is also survived by nieces, other nephews, cousins, and other friends.
