We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2020, at the age of 89, Odessa Hayes (High Point, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizvan Hill and Sarah Walker Hill; her husband Theodore Roosevelt Hayes; her sons, Bernard Leroy Hayes and Ronald Lee Hayes; and her siblings, Sherman Hill, Charlie Hill, Sr., Saunders June Hill, Alta May Hill Spencer, Gertrude Hill Penry, Dorothy Hill Foster and Doris Hill Lee.
She is survived by: her son Jerry Thurandus Hayes (Virginia) of High Point, NC; her sister Sarah Mae Spencer Thompson of Trinity, NC; and her grandchildren, Felicia Boulware (Robert) of High Point, NC, Kay Hayes (KK) of South Carolina, Derrick Hayes of Winston Salem, NC, Jasmine Martin of Knoxville, TN and Warren Saunders of High Point, NC. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
