She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Franklin Burns and Ima Young Burns; her husband Walter Conard Cruthis; and her siblings, Joyce and Bruce.
She is survived by: her children, Lonnie Cruthis (Janet) of Sophia, Wayne Cruthis (Sandra) of Jamestown and Phyllis Howard (Scott) of Hickory. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery (6000 W Gate City Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27407).
