He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther James Williams and Mamie Purnell Williams; his wife Pamela Howie Williams; his brothers, Theatmus "Bill" Williams, Leroy "Pete" Williams and James "BaeBae" Williams; his niece Sharon Castro; and his aunts and uncles, Anna B. Williams, Freddie Williams, Annie Kate McClain, Theo, Theodore Williams, Clevester Williams, Geneva W. Brown and Savannah Kollock.
He is survived by: his son Anthony McCoy of Dillon, SC; his brother Willie "Mook" Williams (Minister Evonne Williams); his grandsons, Marc McCoy and Ray Williams; his sister-in-law Roberta Purnell; and his close friend Vivian "Vann" Buchannon. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, many cousins and friends.
