With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Minister Boyd Williams Jr. (High Point, North Carolina), who passed away on October 31, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther James Williams and Mamie Purnell Williams; his wife Pamela Howie Williams; his brothers, Theatmus "Bill" Williams, Leroy "Pete" Williams and James "BaeBae" Williams; his niece Sharon Castro; and his aunts and uncles, Anna B. Williams, Freddie Williams, Annie Kate McClain, Theo, Theodore Williams, Clevester Williams, Geneva W. Brown and Savannah Kollock.
He is survived by: his son Anthony McCoy of Dillon, SC; his brother Willie "Mook" Williams (Minister Evonne Williams); his grandsons, Marc McCoy and Ray Williams; his sister-in-law Roberta Purnell; and his close friend Vivian "Vann" Buchannon. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, many cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Living Water Baptist Church (1300 Brentwood St, High Point, NC 27260). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
