She was predeceased by: her husband Francis J Kuplen; her grandson Jerry W Calhoun; her siblings, Doris Langston, Louise Dillon, George Harris and Carl Harris; and her half-brother David Harris.
She is survived by: her children, Frances G. Whitlow, Gary A. Kuplen (Pam) and John E.; her granddaughters, Lynn Hollingsworth (Robert), Brandy Allred (Chris), Jessica Curry (Travis) and Lori Kuplen; her sister Martha McQuire of Lexington, NC; and her half-siblings, Nancy Harris, Alan and Tom Harris. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
