He was predeceased by: his father Johnny Mack Medley; his wife Vicky Renett Strawberry Medley; his brother Bobby Lewis Medley; and his aunts and uncles, Edith McKinney Pendergrass, Johnnie Mae McKinney, Pollyette McKinney, Helen Marie Medley Mackey, Kerry McKinney, Buford McKinney, Troy McKinney, Roger McKinney, Perry McKinney, John Franklin Watson, Gary Nathan Watson, Breston Eugene Watson and Bobby Lewis Medley.
He is survived by: his mother Rosa Lee McKinney Medley; and his siblings, Johnnie Mae Medley, Dehavia Laverne Medley, Ronnie Lee Medley, Johnny Mack Medley Jr., Jefferey Lamar Medley, Derrick Keith Medley and Patrick Dale Medley.
Viewing was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Peoples Funeral and Cremation Service (1404 W English Rd, High Point, NC 27262). Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Gethsemane Baptist Church (401 Wise Ave, High Point, NC 27260). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
