She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Lee Yarbrough (Lola Arthurs Yarbrough) and Mary; her husband Glenn W. Patterson; and her brothers, Clarence and Ray Yarbrough.
She is survived by: her children, Fonda Spivey (Clayton) of High Point and Shelley Snider of Moore County; her stepchildren, Sheila Drew (Thomas) of Rocky Mount, Ray Oakley (Jenni) of McLeansville and Keith Patterson (Mary) of Rockingham County; her grandchildren, Wendy Thompson (Kevin) and Shawn Spivey (Robin); and her great grandchildren, Ethan Thompson (Katelyn) and Austin Thompson. She is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren; and other extended family.
