She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Burrow and Sally Moss Burrow; her son Douglas Wayne Parris; and her sister Louise Overman. She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa Varner (J. C.) of Thomasville, Cindy Tysinger (Alan) of Pleasant Garden, Liz Spence of Archdale and Amanda Arocha (John) of Trinity; and her sisters, Ruth Welch of High Point and Brenda Kimsey of Jacksonville, Florida. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
