She was predeceased by: her parents, Hezekiah Blakeney and Ora Bryant Blakeney; her husbands, Rev. George E. Reid and William Eddleman; her daughter Brenda Jo Blakeney; and her siblings, Carrie Hollins, Jerry Blakeney, Kay Frances Blakeney, Bettye White and Laurence Blakeney.
She is survived by: her children, Carl Reid (Deloris) of Lawrenceville, GA, Elaine Cook (William) of Inglewood, CA and Vanessa House (Hugh) of High Point, NC; and her siblings, Ray Blakeney (Willa) of Kannapolis, Barbara Blakeney of Concord and Nancy B. Anthony of Kannapolis. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19 and the social gathering restrictions there will a guest register and card drop off on the porch at the home of her sister, Nancy B. Anthony at 333 Esther Circle, Kannapolis, NC, 28083.
