She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Sherrill Ingram and Mary Esther Kersey Ingram; her husband John Edward Surrett, Jr.; and her siblings, Bill "Billy" Ingram and Natalie Whiteley.
She is survived by: her children, John Edward Surrett III (Daphene) of Matthews, NC, Sherrie Natalie Surrett of Concord, NC and Meri Surrett Elliott (Domain) of Charlotte, NC.; her nieces and nephews, Robert Ingram, Bill Ingram, Harold "Tink" Surrett, Natalie Matheson, Judy Carter and Marsha Wright; her grandchildren, Austin John Nettell of Charlotte, NC, Kayleigh Elliott and Evelyn Elliott (Evie); and her pet Dunkin.
