It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Staley Lavender of High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Marie Staley departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Marie Staley may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Marie Staley leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her sister Sherri Davis. She is survived by: her parents, Paul Staley and Margaret Elizabeth McBride Staley of Wallburg, NC; her husband John Lavender; her son Brandon Rogers of High Point; her nephew Benjamin Brooks of Greensboro; and her niece Sarah-May Brooks of Greensboro.
