She was predeceased by: her parents, Manie Garland Hege and Clemmie Berrier Hege; her husband Bill Wood; and her brothers, Leople Parrish (Rebecca Hotle), Versie Lee Hege, Olin J. Hege and Harvey Eugene Hege.

She is survived by: her nieces, Donna Orman and Cheryle Parrish; her cousin Amber Fitzgerald; her friend Barbara Parris Springs; and her daughter Amy Jo Wood Pasquini (John).
