She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Clayton Barnes and Irene Mae Barnes (Lantz); her husband David Thomas Lesher Malott, Jr.; and her siblings, Catherine Flynn, Gladys Sowers, Frances Sheffer and Edwin Barnes.
She is survived by: her children, Joanne Malott Dean (Alan), David L. Malott (Brenda) and James E. Malott (Debbie); and her grandchildren, Heather Dean Thacker (Jamie), Stephanie Dean Smith (Shawn), Christopher Malott, Andrew Malott (Ashley), Justin Malott (Jeni) and Stephen Dean. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home (1331 Eastern Blvd N, Hagerstown, MD 21742). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
