She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrison Idol and Sabra Harvey Idol; her husband James Bruce Lackey; and her siblings, Jim Idol, Betty Biby, Mary Lawson, Peggy Idol and Inez Dalton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Smith (Rob) of Chapel Hill, Ellen High (Steve) of Kernersville and Regina Lambeth (Mike) of Winston-Salem; her grandchildren, Ashley S. Wallace (John) of Chapel Hill, Brandon Smith of Oakland, CA., Emily Freedman (Andy) of Boston, MA., Travis High (Amy) of Decatur, GA., Mallory Howard (Phil) of Fayetteville, Ryan Lambeth of Clayton and Trenton Lambeth of Winston-Salem; her great grandchildren, Jack, Olivia, Margaret Wallace, Nora, Grant Freedman, Riley, Reese High, Parker, Mary Cate and Charlotte Howard; and her sister Doris Craver (Jim) of High Point. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.
