She was predeceased by: her parents, George Monk, Sr. and Thelma Ellerbe Monk; and her husband James Jackson, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Emma Pearson; her granddaughter Julia Jackson; her great grandchildren, Antonio Jackson and Demetrius Jr. Pearson; her sons-in-law, Frank Pearson and Walt Pearson Mrs; her children, Mary Pearson, James Jackson III (Julia), Michael Jackson and Randy Jackson; her brother John Francis Monk; and her sisters-in-law, Lucy Faye Monk, Dorothy Monk and Pearline Monk. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; a host of great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
