Though Lycinda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lycinda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father James Dennis "Denny" Brackman; and her cousin Dottie Nolte. She is survived by: her mother Betty Vallance Brackman; her husband Bradley "Brad" J. Berthiaume; her brother Steve Brackman (Marybeth); her niece Maddie Brackman; her nephew Max Brackman of High Point; her mother-in-law Annette Revens (Chuck); and her cousin Cathy Grimes (Aaron) of Kentucky.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Tabernacle Baptist Church (3929 Johnson St, High Point, NC 27265-9178).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Friends of the Stokes Shelter (FOSS), 1111 Dodgetown Road, Walnut Cove, NC 27052; or to a local animal rescue agency in your community.
