She was predeceased by: her parents, James Everette Staley and Pearl Hardister Staley; and her son Wesley Everette Hiatt. She is survived by: her husband David Marshall Hiatt; her daughters, Christina Hiatt (Charles Hurley) of Lexington and Andrea Beane (Christopher) of Archdale; and her grandchildren, Samantha Dickens, Britney Hurley, Katie Hurley, Wesley Miller and Zachary Beane.
