It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Chavis (High Point, North Carolina), who passed away on March 10, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Alsbrooks and Reola Massey; her husband Lloyd J. Chavis (Billy Boger); and her brothers, James Alsbrooks and Howard Alsbrooks.
She is survived by: her children, Lutricia Mirwani, Henrietta Turner (Edward), George Patterson and Tony Patterson; her sisters, Mary Loyd and Mattie Clyburn; and her grandsons, Joseph T. Ivey and Donald R. Heggins. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
