She was predeceased by: her parents, George Sr. Dumas and Mary Allen Dumas; her significant other Walter Lee Walls; and her siblings, Bonnie Bethea, Johnsie Shaw, Rosa Kelly, Alexander, George Jr. and James Dumas.
She is survived by: her sons, Craig, Jerod and Marlon Walls; her sister Ellen Alston; her niece Misty Alston; her grandchildren, Tamika Lanier (Richard), Shawn Walls, Sr. (Meredith) and Lakisha Brown (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Seniah, Naari, Shawn Jr., Miles, Teagan, Ivana and Robert. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends.
