It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaRue Tolbert of High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on April 22, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of LaRue Tolbert to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John LaRue and Lonie Adams Newby; her husband George Eugene "Gene" Tolbert; her daughter Karen; and her son-in-law Dan Scott.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Brandy Lowery (Perry) of Thomasville; her sister Pauline "Polly" Bulla of Trinity; and her sister-in-law Deanie Tolbert Bartlett (George) of High Point. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
