She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Coles Allgood and Hallie Thomas Allgood; her husband William Banks Staley, Sr.; her son William Banks Staley, Jr.; and her brother-in-law Charles Staley.
She is survived by: her son Michael Staley (Ruth); her grandson Preston Staley; her siblings, June McDowell-Davis (Dwight) and Bill Allgood (Gloria); and her siblings-in-law, Wade Staley (Libby), Ann Staley, Florence Hall and Edith Slate. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
