It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Johnson (High Point, North Carolina), who passed away on March 7, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William James Grant and Ella Dannenberg Grant Goettsch; and her brothers, William Robert Grant of High Point and John Emmons Grant of Placerville, California.. She is survived by: her daughter Lynn Johnson DiFoggio of High Point; her grandsons, Anthony DiFoggio (Christy) and Mario DiFoggio (Kelly); and her great grandchildren, Micah, Jaden, Ella, Garrett and Carmen.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC 27262.

“I will miss my talks with Kathryn. I am a distant relative living in NJ, but spoke with her about every 3 to 5 weeks. When Katheryn”s mother was still alive I visited with my wife and daughter so my daughter could speak with someone 100 years old. I am so glad we made the trip! She will be missed greatly, by her daughter and grandchildren and great grandchildren. Kathryn was a wonderful person, I miss her greatly.”
