It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny MacK Medley (High Point, North Carolina), born in Monroe, North Carolina, who passed away on January 20, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nannie Mae Watts and Jonah Medley; and his son Bobby Medley. He is survived by: his stepfather Willie Watson; his wife Pearline Watts Medley; his children, Maurice Medley (Vicky) of Silver Spring, MD, Ronnie Medley (Joyce) of New Bern, NC, Johnny M. Medley, Jr. of High Point, NC, Johnnie Mae Medley, Dehavia Medley of High Point, NC, Trinette Ezerette of Hampton, VA and Kim Medley of California; his stepchildren, Jeffrey Medley, Patrick Medley, Derrick Medley of High Point, NC and Pamela Coleman of California; and his siblings, Eugene Watson of Monroe, NC and Elaine Tanner of Monroe, NC. He is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends.
